Privacy
OneTake captures your screen only after you press Record and select a source in the dialog Chrome shows. Nothing is captured before that.
What leaves your computer
The recording. It goes to Cloudflare R2 as you record. Link ids are randomly generated and long, the videos are not listed on any page, and the watch pages carry a noindex tag. None of that makes a link private: anyone who has it can play the video, so do not put a link anywhere you would not put the video.
What we do not collect
OneTake has no accounts, so there is no name or email address of yours on file. The site does not set cookies and does not load an analytics script.
Retention
Uploads are deleted 90 days after they are made. Deleting a recording in the extension removes the file from storage at the same time.
Local data
Recordings and settings are stored in your browser's local storage until you clear them.
